Rosa Estévez
Casting director Spanish with more than 25 years of experience working in film, television and theatre, both in national and international productions. Throughout her career she has developed a perspective recognized within the industry for her rigor, honesty and deep knowledge of the creative process and of the different players of the audiovisual industry.
She has worked with production companies such as Boomerang, Plano a Plano, LaZona, Morena Films, Grupo Secuoya, Pendelton, Arcadia Motion Pictures, El Deseo o Gaumont, participating in the casting of numerous fiction projects.
Among the directors she has collaborated with are Daniel Calparsoro (Cien años de perdón, El aviso, El silencio de la ciudad blanca), Pablo Berger Berger, (Blancanieves, Abracadabra), Benito Zambrano (La voz dormida), Gracia Querejeta (Ola de crímenes), Julio Medem (El árbol de la sangre), Enrique Urbizu (Gigantes), Salvador Calvo (La Duquesa, Paquirri), Celia Rico (Viaje al cuarto de una madre) or Paco Cabezas (Carne de Neón), as well as other European filmmakers such as Olivier Assayas (Carlos).
On television she has participated in the casting of series such as “Física o Química”, “Motivos personales”, “El Príncipe”, “Los misterios de Laura”, “Apaches”, “Gigantes”, “Vivir sin permiso”, “Justo antes de Cristo”, “La Caza. Monteperdido”, “Dime quién soy” and “El Cid”, among others.
She has also worked in theatre with directors such as Claudio Tolcachir, Daniel Veronese and David Serrano.
After decades working with actors, directors and producers, Rosa Estévez combines her professional activity with the training of performers, bringing her experience to help them develop their work in front of the camera with a creative, technical and professional approach.
