He developed a key part of his stage career within Animalario and established himself as one of the strongest performers of his generation thanks to a career marked by intensity, physical transformation and great versatility across drama, comedy and theatre.
In theatre, one of his milestones was “Urtain”, a work for which he won the Max Award for Best Actor in 2010, as well as receiving recognition from the Actors’ Union. That production was decisive for his career trajectory and consolidated his stage prestige.
In film, he is especially known for titles such as “La gran familia española”, which earned him the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor, and “Que Dios nos perdone”, for which he won the Goya Award for Best Leading Actor. Among his most notable works are also “El autor”, “Alegría, tristeza”, “Zona hostil” and “Es por tu bien”.
On television, he has had a highly recognizable presence in series such as “Estoy vivo”, where he played Manuel Márquez and received awards such as the Ondas and the MIM Series according to RTVE and other award summaries, and he has also appeared in “Antidisturbios”.
