Pedro Rudolphi
He moved to London in 2010 to study film at the University of the Arts London, where he specialized in Screenwriting and Directing. During his time in the United Kingdom he developed his career in advertising and fiction, making his first short films and working on audiovisual projects for different international brands and production companies.
His first short film, while he was still a student, was selected at the Festival de Málaga in 2015, beginning a journey with his projects that to date add up to more than 160 official selections and 19 awards at national and international festivals. His work is characterized by a focus on actor direction.
In 2018 he moved to Madrid and founded Alpha Producciones, from where he develops his own fiction projects and an extensive audiovisual creation laboratory. In recent years he has written and directed more than 1,100 micro-fiction projects, equivalent to more than 70 hours of filmed footage and more than 5,500 pages of script, consolidating intensive practical experience in narrative, staging and working with performers.
In the field of series development, his project was selected in the Ventana Cinemad laboratory, where it received the Award for Best Series.
At the same time he has developed a career as an actor, appearing in film and television in national and international productions such as “Terminator: Dark Fate”, directed by Tim Miller, “El Verano Que Vivimos” directed by Carlos Sedes, as well as in series such as “Madres. Amor y vida”, “Machos Alfa”, “Los hombres de Paco”, “Warrior Nun”, “Por H o por B”, “Otros Mundos”, “Breaking the Band”, “Jerusalem: City of Faith and Fury”, “La valla”, “Vis a Vis”, “Acacias 28” or “El desorden que dejas”.
This dual experience, in front of and behind the camera, deeply shapes his approach to working with performers and to scene construction.
