Patxi Freytez

Spanish actor with an extensive career in theatre, film and television. On television he gained great popularity thanks to his role as Mikel Miralles in “The Commissioner”. He had previously stood out in “They Are Like That”, and later participated in “Love Is Forever”, “The Escape”, “Serve and Protect”, “The Hunt. Monteperdido” and “State Secrets”.

He made his film debut with Isabel Coixet starring in “To Those Who Love” and was part of Pedro Almodóvar’s “All About My Mother”. He has also worked in titles such as Álvaro Fernández Armero’s “The Sheep Don’t Miss the Train”, David Ilundain’s “B, the Movie”, “A Wave of Crimes” and “Joy – Sadness”.

In theatre he has participated in productions such as “Waiting for Godot”, “The Importance of Being Earnest”, “The Revenge of Don Mendo” and “Skies”.

He is currently on tour with “A Doll’s House” and “Electra”, both directed by Lautaro Perotti, the latter premiered at the Mérida Festival. In addition, Patxi Freytez is also a writer and audiobook narrator.
