Cristina Alcázar
After training as an actress at the Escuela de Arte Dramático de Murcia, the Elche-born actress moved to Madrid and began her theatre career with “The Other Side of the Bed”, an adaptation of the film musical directed by Emilio Martínez Lázaro. Since then she has developed a solid theatrical trajectory with productions such as “Naked” by Roberto Santiago, “Sexual Perversions in Chicago” by David Mamet, “The Settled Life” by Marta Sánchez and David S. Olivas, “Chained Words” by Jordi Galcerán, “The Good Wife’s Manual” directed by Quino Falero and “Intimate Pleasures” by Lars Norén, directed by José Martret. On television she has appeared in series such as “Tell Me How It Happened”, “Physics or Chemistry”, “Love Is Forever”, “Los Quién”, “La Templanza”, “HIT”, “Galgos” (Movistar+) and “Shared Custody”, premiered on Disney+ in 2025.
In film she has worked with directors such as Roberto Santiago on “The Longest Penalty Kick in the World” and “The Suicides Club”, as well as collaborating on films by Álex de la Iglesia, Nicolás Muñoz, Nacho García Velilla, Raúl Cerezo and Fernando González Gómez with “The Passenger”, or Rodrigo Cortés with “Escape”. The film “Hits”, by Rafael Cobos, will be released in 2026.
In 2011 she debuted as a director with the short film “Although Everything Goes Wrong”, with which she obtained more than 14 awards, including Best International Comedy Short Film at The Indie Gathering (USA). In 2016 she premiered the documentary “Think, Observe and Breathe” at the Madrid Film Festival – Plataforma de Nuevos Realizadores, where it won the Audience Award for Best National Feature Film.
In 2017 she received the AISGE Award for Best Female Performance for “Cachorro” by Jesús Rivera. Since 2013 she has combined her career with actor training, collaborating with schools such as Alpha Estudio, Primera Toma, TAI, Mujeres con Gesto, Estudio Juan Codina, Centro Actúa and MADS.
