Carmen Rico

The scene’s cardiologist, she studied at the Escuela de Cine de la Comunidad de Madrid (ECAM) and at the NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY in New York. She is a Screenwriter and Director, completed master’s degrees in Actor Direction at the school of Augusto Fernandes, Carlos Gandolfo, Lito Cruz and Agustín Alezzo in Buenos Aires, and has received classes in almost all the techniques currently developed from the hands of her Masters (Taborelli, José Carlos Plaza, John Strasberg, Marjorie Ballantines among others).

Author of “The 100 Days of Actor-iz” (two sold-out editions), “The 100 Fears of the Actor-iz”, “Play Poem: Our Imaginary”, as well as “Enea CaM: Dictionary of Activities”.

Carmen has more than 100 awards as Director and Screenwriter, filmed a documentary “All About Barbara” for Mattel and the short films “The Space of Appearances” for NESCAFE, “Ricardo: Discontinued Pieces”, “Deadly Alliance”, “Little Sammuel”; she has also directed and produced various theatrical pieces.

Throughout her career, Carmen has worked with more than 7,000 actors around the world.
